Description
The barn and outbuildings at Brook Stud Farmhouse date from 1845, as indicated by a limestone plaque above the granary door. These structures are built of flint with red brick dressings and have clunch-lined internal walls. The roofs are made of slate and red pantiles. The barn features six bays and has two entrances facing east, each leading to a separate yard. To the south, there are milking stalls and an open hovel for store cattle on either side of the yard. To the north, the buildings include stables, a carthouse, and an open hovel for horses, with the granary positioned at the angle. The original details of the windows and boarded doors are still intact.
