Description

The stable at Brook House Farm is an early 18th-century structure, dating from before 1746. It is built from reddish brick and topped with a Welsh slate roof. The central stable opening features a wooden surround with an elliptical arch, while there is an elliptical arch window opening to the right. The building also has a moulded eaves band. This stable is part of a group of farm buildings that includes a threshing barn, cart shed, cowhouse, pigeon house, and pigsties, all surrounding a yard. The Brook House Farmhouse completes this group of buildings.
