Description
The cart shed at Brook House Farm is an early 18th-century structure, built before 1746. It is constructed from reddish-brown brick laid in stretcher bond and features a gabled roof covered with plain tiles. The exterior includes a cart opening at the gable end, and the roof truss, which is a queen-strut collar-and-tie-beam type, is exposed at this end. The cart shed is attached to a stable at the rear. The surrounding farm buildings at Brook House Farm include a threshing barn, pigsties, a cowhouse, and a pigeon house, with Brook House Farmhouse completing the group. The interior was not inspected.
