Description

The cartshed at Church House Farm, located to the north of the farmhouse, dates from the 18th century. It is an open shed with five bays and an aisle on the west side. The structure features a timber frame built on a brick wall, with curved braces connecting the tie-beam to the posts and wall plate of the aisle. There are also straight struts extending from the tie-beam to the purlins. The brickwork is made of red bricks arranged in English bond.
