Description
This cart shed, located to the north-east of Broomhall Farmhouse, dates from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of brick with sandstone dressings and features a concrete tiled roof, complete with sandstone copings and kneelers. The west gable wall has a cart entrance that is framed by a quoined surround, a segmental arch, and a keystone. The south wall has no openings, while the north and east walls are obscured by 20th-century lean-to additions. The shed is listed for its group value with the farmhouse.
