Description
This is a milepost located to the west of the junction with Chandler Hill Lane, likely dating from the early 19th century. It is made of cast iron and features a cylindrical shape with a cylindrical stem and a domed top. The top of the milepost has the inscription 'LONDON 154' in raised letters. Below this, there are two panels that indicate distances to various towns, including Baslow, Bakewell, Buxton, and Chesterfield.
