Description
Larretts is a cottage dating from the 17th century, incorporating earlier framed walls, with an 18th-century shop extension. It is timber framed and plastered, with a thatched roof that was recently replaced with old pantiles. The cottage has one storey and an attic. Originally it had a three-unit plan with a projecting wing facing the street. It features a gable end stack to the left and a ridge stack. There is one dormer window. A closed porch is situated in the angle with the wing. The front of the building has three ground floor casement windows, a shop window in the gable elevation with a glazed door beneath a tiled pent roof, and a modern casement window above.
