Description

This wall, located about 20 yards southeast of the Abbey in Swaffham Bulbeck, is likely of medieval origin but more probably dates from the 18th or 19th century, incorporating materials from the Abbey. It features a flint plinth along with clunch and limestone rubble. On the northwest side, there are sites for the joists of the flooring. One end of the wall displays a chamfered jamb and a broach stop from a large doorway opening.
