Description
The Old Nurseries is an early 19th-century building with minor later alterations, designed in the Gothic style. It is constructed of brick that has been rendered and painted, and it stands two storeys tall. The south side features six two-light casement windows with four-centred heads, along with two modern windows and a modern door on the ground floor. A later canted bay window is present on Trumpington Road, and there is a later annexe on the west side that includes pointed-headed windows. The building has a hipped slate roof with a central brick chimney stack. Inside, a notable feature is the original moulded fireplace surround.
