Description

These are a group of three-storey houses, dating to approximately 1825, located on Trumpington Road. They are constructed of gault brick with slate roofs. Each house originally had two windows on each floor, featuring glazing bars and jalousies on the ground floor. The windows are set within flat brick arches. The doorways have rounded heads, with moulded plaster surrounds and key blocks. The lower windows of the northernmost house (No 1) have been replaced by a modern two-storey bay window. No 5, the southernmost house, extends over a carriage arch and has an additional window above the main floor. Panel doors with fanlights are present in each house. According to historical records, these houses are notable features of the area.
