Description
Brooks Place is a terrace of four houses built in the early 19th century. The buildings are three storeys high, with two windows each. They are constructed from gault brick and feature limestone string courses at the first and second floors, along with dentil eaves. The roof is slated and has axial chimneys made of gault brick.
The houses have sash windows with flat arches of gault brick; No. 25 has small-pane sashes, while the others have larger panes. There are two groups of entrance doorways, with each group containing a doorway on either side of a shared rear access passage. Each of the three openings features flat limestone pilasters that support a semi-circular arch with a keystone. The entrance doors have a pair of moulded panels and a semi-circular fanlight above. Additionally, each access passage entrance is adorned with a wrought iron gate and decorative scrolled ironwork in the arch above.
