Description

Melbourne Place numbers 1 to 16, dating to approximately 1840, comprise a terrace of grey gault brick houses. Numbers 15 and 16 have been painted. The houses are two storeys high with a basement, and generally have one window each, although numbers 10 and 16 have two windows and a central door. The windows are predominantly sash windows with glazing bars. Number 6 has a late 19th-century stucco canted bay and stucco window architraves. Some properties feature panelled doors and fanlights, and number 16 has modern reeded pilasters. The roofs are slate.
