Description

Nos 25 to 27 Trumpington Street, built around 1830, are three-storey buildings with a basement, constructed from gault brick and topped with a slate roof. They feature a stone band at the first floor level and a Roman cement band below the parapet. The buildings have six windows with flat rubbed brick arches and glazing bars. Wrought iron balconies adorn the first-floor windows. The ground floor has a mix of flat-headed and round-arched windows, with the latter originally being doorways that have since been replaced with windows, except for the northernmost window which retains an ornamental metal fanlight. The first floor has French windows, except for No 27 which has modern windows. No 26 boasts good cast-iron area railings. The roof is not visible.
