Description

Nos 370 and 372 on Commercial Road are early 19th-century buildings made of stock brick, featuring coped parapets. They rise three storeys above basements, with No. 370 having two windows and No. 372 having three. The first and second-floor windows are set under gauged flat arches and are fitted with sashes that include glazing bars. Both buildings have fine wrought iron balconies.

On the ground floor, No. 370 has recessed windows with arched heads and a tunnel entrance flanked by fluted engaged columns. No. 372 features windows under gauged flat arches, a round-headed door adorned with a mask keystone, a decorated impost band, and a fanlight above. Additionally, there are wrought iron area railings surrounding the properties.

These buildings, along with Nos 368 to 374, form a cohesive group.
