Description
Nos 1 to 6 Park Terrace were built in 1835 and are part of the unified Park Terrace development. These three-storey buildings have basements and are constructed from gault brick with a slate roof. There is a cement band below the parapet, and the range features 18 windows with flat brick arches, although some glazing bars are missing. The doorways have six flush panelled doors topped by fanlights, also with flat brick arches. An ornamental cast-iron balcony with a verandah runs along the entire first floor, supported by cast-iron brackets with foliated scroll designs and decorated in a free Greek style. The original staircases are of a plain design. All the listed buildings in Park Terrace form a group.
