Description

No. 47 Cherry Orton Road is an 18th-century cottage constructed of coursed stone, featuring flush quoins and decorative stonework around the doorway and windows. The cottage has a steeply pitched roof covered in Belgian tiles, with coped gable ends. It is one storey high with an attic, which includes three gabled dormers fitted with modern casements. On the ground floor, there are two modern casements and a central flush panel door topped by a small rectangular fanlight. The building is complemented by brick stacks at either end.
