Description

Barn End is a house that was originally a barn, dated 1682. It is located at right angles to the road, immediately south of No 74 on Cherry Orton Road. The building is made of rendered stone and features a thatched roof with a hipped end facing the road. It has been converted to two storeys and now includes modern casement windows with leaded panes. There are rendered stacks on the north side of the building. A tablet beneath the eaves on the north side is inscribed with "AS 1682". The structure is included for its group value.
