10/40 Ashbarn (Nos 97.98) GV II Barn, converted to a dwelling. C18, with extensions and alterations of C20. Rendered walls and thatched roof. An aisleless timber-framed barn of 6 bays, at right-angles to the roadway: 2 storeys, 4 above 5 windows. Hipped roof, 2 eyebrow dormers. Walls rendered between the exposed posts and struts of the frame. Casements. 2 flat-roofed extensions at the east side, one a porch. Included for group value.
