Description

Constantia Cottage is a pair of cottages that have been combined into one dwelling, dating from the 18th century. The building is constructed of flint and brick and features a thatched roof. It is one storey high with an attic and has two windows. The roof is hipped at the west end, with lowered eaves, and ½-hipped at the east end, where the frame is exposed in the upper gable. The eaves are raised above the upper windows. The walls consist of horizontal flint panels, accented with brick quoins, bands, and cambered arches. The windows are casements, and there is one boarded door in a plain frame, while the other door is ½-glazed and connected to a window.
