Description
Two connected dwellings, built in the 18th century and the mid-19th century. The buildings are constructed of brick, with a thatched and slate roof. They form an L-shaped block. The short, west elevation is symmetrical, featuring one storey and an attic with two windows. A 20th-century outshot is located on the north side, containing one window. The roof is half-hipped to the roadway, displaying exposed framing in the gable, and hipped to the north. The eaves are raised above the upper windows. The brickwork is painted and uses a Flemish bond, with cambered arches above the ground-floor windows. The windows are casements. A 20th-century brick porch, with a gabled pantile roof and glazed double doors, is present. The roadside (south) elevation continues with similar, but less regular, features. An extension was added in the mid-19th century, featuring a hipped slate roof and large 20th-century casement windows. The buildings are designated as having group value.
