Description

Rectory Cottage is a house dating from the 18th century, with restoration work carried out in the 20th century. It is constructed of cob with a slate roof. The front (east) elevation is regular, featuring two storeys and five windows. The roof is hipped at the south end. The walls are rendered with a plinth. The windows are sashes set in reveals, and there is a splayed bay window on the ground floor. A plain doorway provides access to the interior, leading to a six-panelled door with a top glazed section. Inside, remnants of wall panelling are present, along with an old oak casement and a Queen post roof.
