Description

The building at 25 Precincts is primarily from the 19th century, although it may incorporate earlier foundations. It is constructed of ashlar with a crenellated parapet and has a Welsh slate roof. The building is three stories high and has four irregular windows with stone mullions and four-centred dripmoulds. A three-story porch is present. The windows are two- and four-light designs, also with dripmoulds, and overlook an arched, moulded doorway with a dripmould. The sides have two-story buttresses. A plinth is visible, and the rear elevations date to the 18th century. The building is situated within a group of properties including numbers 24 to 28, Bishop's Gate, and King's lodgings.
