Description

46 Cowgate is an early 19th-century building with later 19th-century decoration. It is constructed of brick and has a slate roof, standing three storeys tall. The building features three carved consoles at the eaves and an ornamental stone finial at the eaves, shaped like a Gothic font cover. There are two windows with stone arches, which contain double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The ground floor has a modern shop front. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 42 to 50 (even).
