Description
55 Priestgate is a 16th-century building located in Peterborough. It is constructed of brick with some rubble on the side and features a Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys and attics, with three flat-topped dormers that have slate-hung sides and casement windows. There is a wooden eaves cornice and overhanging eaves.
On the first floor, there are three windows with segmental gauged brick arches. The ground floor has two flat-arched windows and a two-panel door that is half-glazed, set back within a wood and glazed surround, topped by a rectangular fanlight with a moulded segmental architrave. Inside, there is some panelling in the entrance hall.
