Description
Old Budna Farmhouse is a house dating from around 1600, with alterations made in the 19th century. It features a timber-framed construction with brick infill, and some areas have been rebuilt in brick. The exterior is partly covered with roughcast render, and it has a thatched roof. The building has a T-plan and stands two storeys tall.
On the east elevation, the ground floor includes three sash windows with glazing bars, while the first floor has one two-light and two three-light casement windows. There is a four-panel flush door to the left, which is sheltered by a 19th-century gabled wooden porch that has wavy-edged bargeboards. A red brick double ridge stack serves a back-to-back hearth aligned with the front door, and there is also a red brick single ridge stack to the right.
