Description
This large barn, dating from the 17th century, is located approximately 75 metres northwest of The Grange. It features a substantial timber frame set on a coursed ironstone plinth, with red brick infill. The western end has been partly rebuilt in red brick and has weatherboarding on the upper part. The roof is made of corrugated iron. The barn is L-shaped, with the main block consisting of four bays, while the southwest block appears to be truncated. There are wooden double cart doors, which are later replacements, located on the south gable of the projecting block and on the west side of the north elevation. The queen strut roof structure is largely intact.
