Description
Warren Cottage is a house dating from the 16th century, with additions and alterations made in the 18th century. It features a timber framed construction with colourwashed roughcast render and a clay tile roof. The building has a two-room plan, stands two storeys tall with attics, and includes a single-storey lean-to addition on the southwest elevation.
On the northeast elevation, there is a central porch with a bell-shaped roof and a part-glazed door, which is topped by an applied pointed arch with Y-tracery. Flanking this are two 2-light casement windows, also featuring applied pointed arches with Y-tracery. The southeast gable end has a part-glazed door set in a moulded surround with a bell-shaped hood, along with two 2-light casements on the first floor and attic, the first-floor window also having an applied pointed arch. A rendered double ridge stack is present on the roof.
