Description

This barn, located approximately 3 meters to the east of The Grange, dates from the 17th century and features later additions. It is constructed with a timber frame, brick end walls, and additional brickwork to the west. The roof is covered with old tiles and has gabled wagon entrances that project to the east and west in the third bay from the south. The barn has eleven framed bays with aisles and opposing wagon entrances in the third and eighth bays from the south. There is a later brick addition with a hipped tile roof projecting from the south, and three buttresses are present at the south end. Inside, the barn features queen post trusses with transverse and longitudinal bracing, butt purlins, and windbraces.
