Description
Saddlers Cottage is a cottage dating from around 1500, with later alterations. It features a timber frame with white painted brick nogging and has been refaced on the ground floor. Above the ground floor, there is a tiled pentice. The roof is made of old tiles and includes a catslide over the outshot at the rear, with an end stack on the right side. The building originally had an open hall consisting of two framed bays and is two storeys high. On the first floor, there are two 19th-century casement windows with two lights each, while the ground floor has two 19th-century segmental-headed casements with three lights each, flanking a central boarded door. Inside, the original floored solar is located to the left, with a 17th-century inserted floor to the right.
