Description

Nos. 3 and 4 on The Square are two cottages built in the late 19th century. They are constructed of white painted brick and feature a plat band and a toothed brick eaves cornice beneath an old tile roof, which has a central ridge stack. The cottages are two storeys high. On the first floor, there are five blank windows, with two-light leaded casements located between the first and second, and the fourth and fifth blank windows from the left. The ground floor has four two-light leaded casements with segmental heads on the right, and a one-light leaded casement with a segmental head on the left. There are boarded doors with segmental heads situated between the third and fourth, and the fourth and fifth windows from the left. These cottages are included for their group value.
