Description

No. 2 The Square is a house dating from around 1500. It has a timber frame with white painted brick nogging and a brick ground floor. The roof is covered with old tiles and features a large ridge stack to the left, positioned in front of the ridge. The building consists of two framed bays on the right and a smoke bay on the left. It is two storeys tall, with two one-light 20th-century casement windows on the first floor, a three-light casement window to the right, and a two-light casement window to the left. On the ground floor, there is a four-light 20th-century window to the left and a central boarded door.
