Description
This is a barn, dated 1735, located west of Parkside in High Street, Henlow. It is a timber-framed barn with weatherboarding cladding above a brick plinth. The barn has a half-hipped roof now covered in corrugated iron. There are central cart doors facing south, with an inserted window to the right of the doors and windows in the ends of the barn. The barn comprises three bays and features an angled queen strut roof with two tiers of purlins and some diagonal tension braces. The wall framing includes a midrail with diagonal tension braces.
