Description
Home Farmhouse is a house with origins in the 17th century, which was reworked in the 18th and 19th centuries. The main block is finished in colourwashed stucco, likely over a timber frame, while a 19th-century addition at the rear is made of colourwashed brick. The roofs are covered with clay tiles. The building has an L-shaped plan, with the earlier part consisting of two storeys and attics, and the later part being two storeys.
On the west elevation, the first floor features four sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor has two tripartite sash windows with glazing bars, with the right-hand window having moulded stucco voussoirs above its flat arched head. There is a six-fielded-panel door topped by a cornice hood supported by console brackets. The angles of the building are accentuated with moulded stucco quoins. A rebuilt yellow brick stack is integrated into the right-hand gable end. The rear elevation has similar sash windows with glazing bars, and the attic includes box dormers that contain casements with glazing bars.
