Description
Fen Farmhouse is a house dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. It features a colourwashed roughcast exterior over a timber-framed structure and has clay tile roofs. The building consists of a three-room, two-storey block, with a lower 18th-century addition that projects from the southwest, creating an L-shaped plan.
On the east elevation, the ground floor has two three-light casement windows, while the first floor has four two-light casement windows. There is a six-panel door, with the top pair being glazed, set in a simply moulded surround, and a gabled bracketed door hood above it. In line with the door is a red brick double ridge stack that serves back-to-back hearths. The rear elevation includes a lean-to addition to the main block and features a variety of casement windows.
