Description
Church Farmhouse is a house dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. The earlier section is constructed with a timber frame and has a colourwashed render, while the later section is made of colourwashed brick. The roofs are covered with 20th-century tiles. The building has a T-plan layout, with the earlier block featuring two storeys and attics, and the later block having one storey and attics.
On the southwest elevation, the ground floor includes three 19th-century canted bay windows, with the outer bays containing sashes that have glazing bars. The central bay may have replaced a doorway. The first floor has two three-light casements flanking a single light window, and the attic features two gabled dormers with two-light casements. There is a red brick central ridge stack that serves back-to-back hearths, and the right-hand angle of the ground floor has been rebuilt in brick.
On the northwest elevation, the later block has two three-light casements on the ground floor and a 20th-century front door located near the junction with the earlier block. There is also a red brick double ridge stack.
