Description
The White Hart Inn is a public house dating from the 17th century. It has a timber-framed structure with colourwashed brick infill and a thatched roof. The main block features a three-room plan and is one storey high with attics. There is a single-storey addition on the right-hand gable end, and a single-storey block projects to the rear from the left-hand gable end, creating an L-shape. The building has 20th-century casement windows with diamond leading, with four on the ground floor and three eyebrow dormers. A 20th-century gabled thatched porch is located between the two left-hand bays, aligned with a red brick double ridge stack that serves back-to-back hearths.
