Description

10 The Knoll is a house that was originally a pair of cottages, built in the late 18th century. The exterior features colourwashed roughcast over a light timber frame and a clay tile roof. The building has a two-room layout, with one storey and attics. On the ground floor, there are two 2-light casements with glazing bars. The roof includes two eyebrow dormers, each with smaller 2-light casements that also have glazing bars. There is a plank door on the left side under a gabled trellis porch, while the original doorway on the right side has been blocked. A red brick double ridge stack is present, and there is a 20th-century extension at the rear. The house is included for its group value.
