Description
Nos. 12, 14, and 16 on George Street is a house that was later divided into three properties. It dates back to the 17th century and features timber-framed construction with pebbledash render, while the northern gable end is partly covered in brick. The building has clay tile roofs and is designed in a T-plan over two storeys. The front elevation displays three windows on each floor of the main block, along with one window on the ground floor of the right cross-wing. All windows are 2-light casements with glazing bars. The cross-wing has a plank door on its southern elevation, while the main block features panel doors on the northern and rear elevations. There are red brick multiple ridge stacks on both the main block and the cross-wing, as well as a red brick integral stack on the northern gable end of the main block.
