Description

Plumtree Cottage is a house dating from the 18th century. It has a timber-framed structure with colourwashed plaster infill and a thatched roof. The cottage features a four-room plan and is one storey high with attics. There are three 2-light casements that have diamond leaded lights, along with two plank doors, one of which is part-glazed. A red brick double ridge stack serves back-to-back hearths, and there are red brick external stacks at both gable ends.
