Description
No. 24 Apsley End Road is a house dating from the 17th century. It has a timber-framed construction with colourwashed plaster infill, while the ground floor has been rebuilt in the 19th century using red brick. The roof is covered with clay tiles. The house has a three-room plan and is two storeys high, with the left-hand block being slightly taller. In the 20th century, an additional room was added to the right in a similar style, along with a two-storey garage on the left. The original block features three windows on each floor, with two and three leaded lights. A 20th-century door has been inserted on the left side. There are red brick integral stacks, one at each end of the original block, which have become ridge stacks due to the 20th-century extensions.
