Description

Mulberry Cottage is an 18th-century house located in Shillington, with a gable end facing the road. It is timber-framed with red brick infill and has a thatched roof. The house originally comprised two rooms, with a single storey and attics. The north elevation features four windows on the ground floor and a single eyebrow dormer window in the attic. A plank door is located on the left-hand side. A red brick integral stack is situated on the right-hand gable end. A 20th-century single-storeyed block is set at a right angle to the northwest of the original structure, linked to it by a small connecting block. The windows are casements, featuring glazing bars.
