Description
Willow Thatch is a late 17th and 18th century house situated in Shillington, on the east side of the High Road. The house is timber framed with colourwashed plaster and brick infill, and has a thatched roof. It originally comprised two rooms, with the western bay being slightly lower and possibly a later addition. A single-storey addition extends from the east gable end. The south elevation features two 2-light casement windows on each floor of the main block, along with two single-light casements in the extension; all have glazing bars. A 20th-century hipped thatched porch sits centrally on the main block. Red brick gable end stacks are present, one integral and one external.
