Description
Bromeland Cottage is a house dating from the early 18th century. It features a plastered and colourwashed timber frame set on a brick plinth, topped with a thatched roof. The cottage is one storey high with a dormer attic. A plank door is located to the right of the centre, flanked by a modern two-light casement window. The gabled roof includes a thatched and gabled dormer at the eaves line, which has a two-light modern casement and additional glazing in the gable head. There is a ridge stack positioned to the right of centre, which has a moulded plinth and a rebuilt flue. The left end of the cottage has a two-light casement window on each floor. Inside, the frame consists of thin scantling, and there is a winder staircase adjacent to the stack. The bridging beams are chamfered and feature tongue stops.
