Description

Ivy Cottage is a house dating from the 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and has red brick infill, topped with a thatched roof. The building features a two-room plan and is one storey high with attics. There are 20th-century additions at each end. The gable end faces the road. On the north elevation, the ground floor has two 2-light casement windows, while the attic includes two eyebrow dormers, each with 2-light casements, all featuring leaded lights. The front door is off-centre and is set within a gabled timber porch. A central double ridge stack made of red brick is present.
