Description

This house in Brook Lane, Flitton, dates to the 17th century and was altered in the 19th century. It is timber-framed and originally constructed with brick, now rendered with colourwashed roughcast. The roof is tiled. The house has a two-room plan and extends over two storeys plus attics, with a gable end facing the road. The front elevation (south) has two tripartite sash windows on the ground floor, without glazing bars. Above these are two sash windows, with a 20th-century window positioned between them. A part-glazed door sits within a 20th-century gabled open porch. A red brick ridge stack is positioned centrally. A single-storey lean-to addition with a slate roof extends from the rear elevation.
