Description

This is a house, originally a row of three cottages, dating to the 17th and 18th centuries. The building is timber-framed and has been partially covered with colourwashed roughcast render and weatherboarding. It has a hipped thatched roof. The original building was a 3-room block bordering the road, originally with one storey and attics. A 20th-century one-storey and attic extension projects to the rear at the south end, forming an L-shaped plan. The original block faces west, away from the road. All windows are 20th-century replacements with glazing bars. There are two dormer windows, and French windows to the north bay. A red brick double ridge stack is present.
