Description

Kidbrook Cottage is a house located on High Street in Flitton. It was originally built in the 17th century and was altered in the 18th century. The house is timber framed, with colourwashed render on the gable and red brick on the front elevation. It has a clay tile roof and a two-room plan with attic space. The ground floor features two two-light casement windows with segmental heads, and the attic has two gabled dormers with two-light casements. There is a six-panel door in a moulded surround with a flat, bracketed hood. A red brick multiple ridge stack serves hearths. A 20th-century one-storey and attic extension is located on the left-hand gable end.
