Description
Meadow Farm House is a house that likely dates from the 16th century, with later alterations. It is constructed of brick and flint, possibly with a timber frame, and features a pantile roof. The building has a rectangular plan and a brick front with five bays, standing two storeys high. There is a central door that has a flat hood above it, and 19th-century casement windows. The eaves cornice is moulded brick, and the flint gable returns at the front have brick quoins. The gables have kneelered parapets and there are internal gable end stacks. The flint gable end walls also have brick quoins. The right-hand gable end wall includes a slit light with brick reveals at ground level and another blocked light between the ground and first floors, along with a blocked square light in the attic. To the left of the house is a single bay, one-and-a-half storey range that features a 19th-century casement window and a gabled attic dormer.
