Description
Hall Farmhouse is a house dating from the early 17th century that underwent extensive alterations in the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick and flint and features a hipped pantile roof. The building has a three-cell plan with later additions at the rear. The south-facing facade is two storeys high and consists of three bays. The right-hand bay is built in English bond with some decorative diapering, while the rest of the facade is in Flemish bond and includes a brick plinth. The windows are sash style with glazing bars. There is a 19th-century doorway located between the second and third bays, which has a plain overlight above it. An off-centre axial stack is present, and the western gable wall is made of galleted flint. On the ground floor, there is a 19th-century doorway and a central blocked light with brick reveals, topped by a moulded brick pediment that extends to form a platband. There is also a blocked light on the first floor with a pediment, along with a 20th-century sash window. At the rear, there is a stack serving the eastern room.
