Description

The White House is an 18th-century house located on Church Lane, Flitton. It is a symmetrical building with a 3-bay plan, two storeys and attics, and a gable end facing the road. The exterior is colourwashed roughcast render over a brick structure, with a clay tile roof. The southwest elevation has two ground-floor canted bays and three first-floor sash windows, all with glazing bars. A 20th-century panelled door sits in the central doorway. Red brick integral stacks are situated on both gable ends. A single-storeyed outbuilding is attached to the right-hand gable end. Lean-to additions to the rear elevation include casement windows and box dormers.
